The World Economic Forum Calls Us a School of the Future. What is a Green School Education?
Monday, November 9, 2020
Green School International
What does it mean to be a “School of the Future” ? Why are traditional models of education proving inadequate in preparing students for the real world? Now, more than ever, students need the knowledge, lifeskills, and values that are interdisciplinary and transferable, in order to navigate a rapidly evolving world. Hear our Green School educators discuss these topics and the Green School way. Panelists include Leslie Medema – Head of Learning for Green School International, Chris Edwards – CEO for Green School New Zealand, Andy Wood – Head of School for Green School South Africa, and Gede Witsen – Green School Bali Alumni. This panel discussion is moderated by Rebecca Sykes, ex- Head of School at Phillips Academy Andover, and prior President of the Oprah Winfrey Foundation.
